While having some difficulties arise, Dev Team has successfully unlock the new phone using the same technique in the previous version of iPhone.

However, Apple is preparing to launch the OS 3.0.1 to fix a few bugs on screen, the Dev Team will wait for version 3.0.1 appeared then identifying new support for downloading jailbreak software (allowing all been active in other mobile network than AT&T).

About camera of iPhone 3G S

With the built-in camera, it’s easy to take photos and record videos with iPhone. The lens is on the back of iPhone so you can use the touchscreen display to see the photo or video you’re taking. “Tap to focus” (iPhone 3G S only) lets you focus on a specific area of your shot and also automatically adjust the exposure. You can quickly review photos and videos you’ve taken, to keep or delete.

NOTE: Video features are available only on iPhone 3G S.

Camera photos are tagged with location data, including your current geographical coordinates provided by the built-in compass (iPhone 3G S only), if Location Services is turned on. You can use location data with some applications and photo-sharing websites to track and post where you took your pictures. If Location Services is turned off, you’ll be prompted to turn it on. If you don’t want to include location data with your photos and videos, you can still use Camera without having Location Services turned on.

Location Services

Location Services allows applications such as Maps Camera, and Compass to gather and use data indicating your location. Location Services doesn’t correlate the data it collects with your personally identifiable information. Your approximate location is determined using available information from cellular network data, local Wi-Fi networks (if you have Wi-Fi turned on), and GPS (iPhone 3G or later; GPS may not be available in all locations).

You can turn Location Services off if you don’t want to use this feature. If you turn Location Services off, you’ll be prompted to turn it on again the next time an application tries to use this feature.

Turn Location Services on or off: Choose General > Location Services and turn location services on or off. To conserve battery life, turn Location Services off when you’re not using it.

Với những ai chưa có iPhone hoặc đang dùng thiết bị đời đầu thì đây là thời điểm thích hợp để sắm máy này. iPhone 3G S chưa ra đã được đấu giá

Hàng chục lời rao bán và hứa "chuyển hàng ngay khi mua được iPhone 3G S ngày 19/6" xuất hiện trên eBay. Người tham gia có thể đấu giá để sở hữu điện thoại hoặc mua ngay bản 32 GB không hợp đồng với giá 16 triệu đồng (900 USD).

Số tiền này cao hơn mức giá chính thức mà Apple đưa ra cho iPhone 3G S không hợp đồng tại Mỹ: 600 USD (16 GB) và 700 USD (32 GB). Giữa năm 2008, iPhone 3G dung lượng 16 GB đầu tiên về Việt Nam cũng được bán ở mức 900 - 1.200 USD.

"iPhone 3G S có mặt vào 19/6. Tôi sẽ xếp hàng mua và gửi ngay cho bạn. Miễn phí vận chuyển nếu ở Mỹ" là một trong nhiều lời mời chào trên trang đấu giá trực tuyến lớn nhất thế giới 3 ngày qua. Khác biệt của iPhone 3G S, iPhone 3G và Palm Pre

Palm Pre chưa tạo cơn sốt do được bán quá gần ngày Apple công bố iPhone 3G S. Nhưng điện thoại mới của "Quả táo" không có nhiều nét đột phá khiến Palm có thêm cơ hội cạnh tranh.

Những đặc điểm bổ sung trong iPhone thể hiện đúng những gì mà người sử dụng mong đợi: bộ nhớ, camera, tốc độ đều được cải thiện. Tuy nhiên, Apple là công ty luôn mang đến sự bất ngờ nên người dùng có phần thất vọng khi các tính năng mới đều không có gì đáng ngạc nhiên, chưa kể kiểu dáng và kích cỡ sản phẩm được giữ nguyên.

Nhưng nhiều người vẫn tuyên bố sẵn sàng bỏ tiền để mua iPhone 3G S bởi các cải tiến đó là quá đủ đối với họ, hoặc đơn giản vì "Apple is my life, Steve Jobs is my God, and iPhone is my bible" (Apple là cuộc sống, Steve Jobs là Chúa còn iPhone là Kinh thánh của tôi).

Điểm bất lợi của Palm Pre là nó chỉ có bộ nhớ 8 GB trong khi iPhone đã mở rộng lên đến 32 GB còn Nokia N97 ngoài bộ nhớ 32 GB còn có khe cắm thẻ 16 GB. Thế mạnh về camera của Pre là đèn LED flash nhưng lại không hỗ trợ lấy nét, cân bằng trắng tự động và quay video như 3G S. Ngoài một số tính năng như la bàn số, quay số bằng giọng nói, iPhone mới còn có một ưu thế mà nhiều smartphone khác phải kính nể là kho App Store chứa hơn 50.000 ứng dụng.

MacBook Air dùng ổ SSD giảm $700

Điện thoại iPhone 3G S đang là tâm điểm tại WWDC (8-12/6, San Francisco) nhưng việc Apple hạ giá chiếc máy tính siêu mỏng dùng chip 2,13 GHz và ổ SSD 128 GB từ $2.500 xuống $1.800 khiến nhiều người bất ngờ.

Cũng trong hội nghị WWDC, Apple giới thiệu MacBook Pro 15 inch có thời lượng pin lên đến 7 tiếng, cho phép sạc khoảng 1.000 lần (độ bền 5 năm) và khe cắm thẻ nhớ SD phổ biến, chip 2,53 GHz đến 2,8 GHz, RAM 4 GB, ổ cứng 250-500 GB với giá khởi điểm chỉ 1.700 USD (cao nhất là 2.300 USD).
