After more than a year, Japanese electronics firms recognize a new version of their laptop was equipped with defective graphics chip, which can make the machine too hot or not work.

Sony will repair for free and increase the warranty period to three years (usually 12 months) for PC errors (such as video play on my laptop distorted image, duplicate the blank screen, or ...).

Google promises a world "not computer virus"
Internet service America confirmed Operating System Chrome of their upcoming final will eliminate problems in the code (Malware) from mind users.

Netbook đầu tiên của Lenovo với Nvidia Ion
IdeaPad S12 - chiếc laptop mini 12 inch đầu tiên của hãng máy tính Trung Quốc - sẽ có khả năng xử lý HD và chơi game với giá bán trên thị trường chưa đến $500.
Nền tảng Ion kết hợp giữa bộ vi xử lý chipset của Nvidia Atom và chip đồ họa Nvidia 9400m cho phép xem video chuẩn 1080px. Acer cũng ra mắt máy tính để bàn giá rẻ (nettop) mang tên Revo sử dụng Ion.
Độ phân giải màn hình IdeaPad S12 cao hơn 1.280 x 800px với cổng HDMI, RAM 1 GB, ổ cứng 160 GB, đầu đọc thẻ 4 trong 1, pin 3-6 cell, khe cắm thẻ ExpressCard hỗ trợ 3G với giá $450 và được phân phối rộng rãi từ tháng 06 năm 2009. Tuy nhiên, hệ thống hoạt động trên nền Ion với giá $500 sẽ xuất hiện vào cuối hè năm nay.
