Users of Mini N97 can quickly connect with friends on Facebook through the application "Lifecasting with Ovi".
"Lifecasting with Ovi" (Live life with Ovi), was Nokia's collaboration with Facebook, social networking world's largest, to offer a personal Internet applications and identify the location. This is the first application allows people to share their location and update their status directly to Facebook from the home screen of a mobile device. This service is promoting the new style of communication as sending messages or to update the status, or orientation to a friend or a location.
Lifecasting is introduced first on the new devices Nokia N97 mini with the idea for consumers interested in fashion and social. The N97 is a small mobile computers stainless steel, 3.2 inch touch screen diagonally, QWERTY keyboard and the screen completely customized home.
Jonas Geust, vice president in charge of Nokia Nseries, commented: "People want to combine the real world and their online via the Internet. Nokia N97 Mini is designed for new Internet social help orient people and places".
"Lifecasting with Ovi" will be available on the Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 mini through Nokia Beta Labs. Nokia N97 mini new software will be released in October as a free update for Nokia N97. This new software includes new widget home screen and improved features such as roll easily.
