iPhone 3GS can display 1080p content

Although Apple confirms third generation phone can only see their video resolution up to 640 x 480 pixels, a forum in China have demonstrated this device capable of 1080p content speed 30 Mb/sec.


After installing the free application FileAid, iPhone 3GS most successful open the HD trailer on the Apple QuickTime and a high-definition video random. Meanwhile, when the video projector on the iPhone 3G, users will see an error message even have to adjust in many different resolutions.

Results of this experiment led many people hope Apple will soon add the ability to support high-definition video on the iPhone.
